Lesson: “Crocodile Sandwich”

LEARNING CONCEPT

Students develop a sense of rhythm and timing through an imaginative rhythm chant about animals and food. The chant is structured to emphasize consonant sounds that convey note value - eight note, quarter note, half note, and dotted eighth note.

Perform the 3-part rhythm chant and corresponding hand movements while keeping time
